Ulala Idle Adventure Warlock Guide
Attributes
Every time you level up, you get 5 points to put into your attributes. You can put max 3 points into one slot per level. You will also get extra points from the hunting badge, and transcending. Your intellect will be full, so you put all remaining points into Tech.
Every time you level up do your attributes like this:
Intellect: 3
Stamina: 0
Tech: 2
Tempers
The 4 stats you want on your tempers will be Attack, Crit, HP, and Impale. You do not have to do them in this specific order, but if you want to be most efficient in maximizing your damage as your progress, do them as so.
ATK
Crit
HP
Impale
It is also important to note when tempering, in order to be most efficient you want to use shells on all of your slots until they are blue (intermediate) grade, then proceed to use temper vouchers.
Clatter Cards
When you first unlock clatter cards the main thing you want to unlock is the Giant Jaw set, at 3 piece, then 6 piece. The Flying Wing set, at 3 piece, will be your second priority. When you do this, it will also complete smaller subsets of boosts, further increasing your damage output. When done correctly, your clatter cards should look as is below.

Skill Rotations (PvP and AFK)
This is just a basic AoE setup for PvP. For very end game players, it seems like you can mess around with single target builds as well. Standard Rotation (use this for AFK)
Avoiding Silence (works even better with Multi Ignition 2, but not required)
Toys
In short, toys add on more damage to skills. Toys are very important when it comes to maximizing damage. Each toy has an effect, and it is active once the skill it is equipped to is used, until the next skill is used (does not do anything to the skill(s) that are after the skill it is equipped to). It is also important to note the atk% that the toys add, are multiplications of the toys attack, not your characters entire atk stat. Make sure you understand how toys work, they are important.
Toys Needed:
Black Moblin- ATK +50%; Awakened: +33% Set ATK
Black Moblin gives you the most damage out of every other toy. The ultimate goal is to have this buff Soul Seal, Transformation (Xform), Secrets
Brown Bear- Set ATK +33%; Avoid 33% Boss Armor
Brown Bear gives your skill more attack, and resists 33% of the bosses armor. This toy is greatly paired with Soul Lash.
Saber Tiger King- Set ATK +33%; Crit Rate +20%, Crit DMG +50%
Saber Tiger gives you more attack, and increases crit rate and crit damage. This is best paired with Soul Twins, Painful Ignition, and Multi Ignition.
Marmot- +1 energy after skill; Awakened: +33% Set ATK
Marmot is mainly used in the early game. After casting a skill, you gain 1 energy towards the next skill. This speeds up the rotation of skills.
Snow Marmot- +2 energy after skill; Awakened: +33% Set ATK
Snow Marmot is used over Marmot, the best way to make your skill rotation faster. Gives you 2 energy towards your next skill.
Bone Ankylosaur (optional)- Prevents a killing blow, can activate twice
Bone Ankylosaur is used against bosses that do a lot of damage to your backline. If your healer isn't able to keep up, or can’t time the tanks skills correctly, this is great to use in order to keep your Warlock alive.
Pets
It is important to note that your pets “Assist” stat, makes your character stronger, and not your pet. This makes the assist stat fairly important. But, with that being said, since the release of evolved pets, this has sort of changed the focus of what pet you want. Yes, assist is important and great, but the shift has changed to your pets “Elements” over the pets “Assist.”
Element Counter Guide:
Fire > Lightning > Earth > Frost > Fire
Light > Dark > Light
Light (1.5x stronger) > Fire, Lightning, Earth, Frost
Dark (1.5x stronger) > Fire, Lightning, Earth, Frost
Best Pets Based on Element:
Light: Tiger kid > Cloudpiercer
Dark: Shadowmoon Packleader (evolved) > Ball Lightning
Fire: Tyrant Dragon (evolved) > Dinornis (highly talented) > Blaze (assist)
Lightning: Thunder King Dragon (evolved) > Lightning Plush (evolved) > Thunder King Dragon
Earth: Proto Dragon (evolved) > Irish Elk (highly talented)
Frost: Queen Dragon (evolved) > Moon Wind Dragon (highly talented)
Pet Skills:
Active: Inspire + Smash or Overcharge (i recommend waiting until its atleast lvl 9)
Passive: Photosynthesis, Sharptooth, Competitive Heart, Onslaught, Cooperation, Battle Heart
Note
Inspire is very important, you want to try and get your inspire pet skill to be used as close as possible [before] to the timing of your Transformation (Xform).
Hero Transformation (Crystals)
Skill Crystals Needed:
Gifting- Gain x Aggression AND Rage points after casting a skill
This essentially speeds up the transformation process, allowing you to transform faster
Combo- Increases Hero Transformation damage.
The higher the quality it is, the more damage it outputs
Secret- A skill released after gaining 100 rage points
After you transform, a rage meter unlocks. Every 100 points releases Secret, dealing damage to the enemy.
Charging- Gain rage points over time after transforming
This allows you to cast your Secret skills faster
Piercing- Ignore x levels on the enemy
Reduces the level of the enemy. In short, you deal more dmg to the opponent and receive less dmg. (Does not affect silence or interrupt skills)
Pursuing- Deal addition damage after using a skill
The first basic attack after using a skill deal more damage when Pursuing is equipped
Splash- Basic attack Crit causes additional damage to 2 random enemies
This is good to use in pvp, and bosses with adds (minions). You want to use this over Pursuing in main line only if your Splash is higher quality than Pursuing
Attribute Crystals Needed:
Crit/Atk II Impale/Atk II HP III
Crit/Atk III Impale/Atk III
Crit II Impale II
Crit III Impale III
How to Maximize Transformation Damage
Maximizing transformation damage is a big part of the game. There are a few things in Ulala that can increase the damage you do. Tank ATK buffs (Call to Arms or Lets Charge), DPS Toys (Preferably Black Moblin), Healer Toys (Hermit Crab). You want to get as many buffs as possible to be used as close as possible [before] to the timing of your transformation, to get the most damage possible. You also will want to do this with the Secret crystal skill.
How Tank ATK buff increases your transformation damage:
The tank ATK buff increases the ATK of your party for 6 seconds, you want this active while your transformation is going off. In the picture below, the tank buff goes off at 23.56s and the Warlock transforms around ~26-27 seconds. This is how you get your transformation buffed by a tank.
How DPS toys increase transformation damage:
In order to get a toy on your character to increase your transformation damage, it needs to be equipped on the skill right BEFORE you transform. You want the Black Moblin toy to be equipped with said skill. In the picture below, the Warlock transforms right after Soul Seal, and it has Black Moblin equipped to it, making it affect the transformation damage.
How to increase your transformation damage using healer’s toys (hermit crab only):
The Hermit Crab toy for healers increases the party's attack for 10 seconds, and it only activates once per battle. If you transform fast enough, you can take advantage of this. You want to equip the Hermit Crab toy on the healers skill that is used right before you transform. In the picture below, the healer’s Hermit Crab is equipped with Natural Aegis, and the Warlock Transforms right after Soul Seal, allowing it to be buffed.
