To defeat this annoying boss, you “ simply “ have 2 choices, the first one is if you have a lot of damage just go directly for a right click glass cannon build, the second one the most common one, is to use a debuff / dispel skill, to dispel his shield, he gets a 12% shield of his max HP every time he loses 30% of his HP till the end of the battle. So all you need to do is basically time your dispel skill to remove his shield. 

A good thing to do is to use  a Queen  Dragon Toy for your healer, and maybe a Purge crystal for your tank, just in case you lack of dispel. Timing the xform after you dispel his shield, because sometimes when your DPS xform he gets a shield, and all the dmg is gone. If you can time both of your DPS, with CTA + XFORM it's great, but if you can’t, just see which of your DPS deals the most DMG during his XFORM, and time him only. For example, with my second team, my Mage XFORM was more powerful than Assassin's, so I just timed Mage XFORM with CTA.
